Vanilla, caramel, coffee and cherry are warm, sweet notes that many people reach for. Gourmand scents feel cosy, wear well in the evening and suit candles and body products as much as fine fragrance. After our top 10 best selling fragrance oils (where you will find Vanilla Brown Sugar, our match for Kayali Vanilla 28) and our winter list, this one is all about gourmand scents. Here are eight vanilla and gourmand oils from our range. Each one sits under the well known perfume it smells like, followed by our matching oil, its notes and when it works best.

A note on the notes
The notes above come from each product page, where they describe the reference perfume's scent profile. They are not an ingredient list. Always sample the grade you plan to use and test it in your own base first.
Using gourmand oils in your products
- Our oils are 100% concentrate, with no DPG and no fixatives, and they work in alcohol based perfumes.
- Sweet oils can feel heavy at high doses, so start low. Our guide on how much fragrance oil to use in perfume explains the usual ranges.
- For candles, soap or body products, check the IFRA limits for that use. Our IFRA categories guide shows how to read them.
How to order
