8 Woody Fragrance Oils of 2026 and the Perfumes They Smell Like

Eight oils from our range that match famous woody perfumes, from Terre d'Hermès and Encre Noire to Bergamote 22 and Hacivat, with notes and when to wear them.
Unlabelled glass perfume bottles and amber dropper bottles of golden oil on a cedar stump, with a split log, cedar shavings, a halved fig, cardamom pods, sandalwood chips, a bundle of vetiver roots and a cypress sprig

Woody perfumes smell of cedar, vetiver, sandalwood and dry earth. They are easy to wear and suit men and women alike. Our oud and amber list covered the rich resins and our leather and tobacco list covered the smoky side. This one is about clean, dry and green woods. Here are eight oils from our range. Each sits under the perfume it smells like, followed by our matching oil, its notes and when it works best.
